Ask Me Why I Call Myself QUEEN...

Ask me why I call myself QUEEN
It’s in the air I breathe, the song I sing
It’s in the light of day
And the root of the trees
Freedom oozes from my pores
And releases upon demand
It can’t be explained and it’s hard to understand.

All that I am lay upon my breast
Shall feed the hungry and nurture the rest
Smell the morning dew of success
Sparkling like sticky sweat after good sex
I’ll do what I must to show and prove
I’ve mastered this game
So I can not loose.

Welcome to my Queendom
Where clouds brush brows and toes touch stars
Where peace welcomes night
And joy comforts tomorrow
Where foam from the ocean creates new life
Call me Goddess like Aphrodite
AFROdite, yeah --that’s right.

Flowing like the River Nile
I illuminate the world
With just a glimpse of my smile
I got rhythm in my thighs
I got strength in my hips
I got power in my eyes
And sweet nectar on my lips.

I choose to be me, nothing less
For I’ve traveled many roads
Made flapjacks outta mess
Refused to compromise
For that I can not apologize
I am what I am
So you betta recognize.

I am royalty you see
That’s my claim to fame
My advice to you my sweet
Always remember my name.
I am Queen!
