The Measure of a New Woman

The strength of a woman is not in the
children she bares; But the power she carries
in offering them stability, and happiness.
The courage of a woman is not in her ability
to keep a home and a job; But the energy she
possesses in the effort to seem stress-less
and interesting. The competency of a woman
is not in the amount of degrees she
accomplishes; but the intelligence she
achieves in dealing, in a world of
discrimination and hardships. The beauty of
a woman is not in her physical appearance;
But the elegance she illustrates through her
never-ending love and devotion.
The truth of a woman is not in the words
she speaks; But in the air she breaths, the
songs she sings, the lives she touch, the
pride she exudes, the contributions she
delivers, the quality of self she develops,
the calmness she grows to welcome.
